Sale Day !!!

These Sale Yards are only small, BUT we have had a record 47,000 Sheep here on 1 Thursday a few years ago. They are nearly in the centre of town, and are apart of Katanning.
They will be no-more soon, because now we are a Super Town, we got a lot of $ to build some new yards out the Nyabing Rd near the Tip. The new yards are 4 times the size, and all undercover. The whole place is concreted and a big turning circle for the B-Doubles that bring the sheep in. We have the biggest Sheep Sale days in Australia, and with the Meat Works out on the Wagin Rd, its the biggest Export of Halal meat in the country.
Will be a sad day indeed once that last truck drives out, on a Thursday afternoon, with the last load of sheep. I hope to get a lot more shots, before that day comes. We need a record of this.
