'All photographs are memento mori. To take a photograph is to participate in another person’s (or thing’s) mortality, vulnerability, mutability. Precisely by slicing out this moment and freezing it, all photographs testify to time’s relentless melt.' (On Photography by Susan Sontag — which I have yet to read.)
Can you believe it's the end of February?! This photo is a different perspective on my first February blip, and perhaps my futile attempt at staving off 'time's relentless melt' by returning to the beginning.
It's been fun doing DDW's alphabet challenge! I think it gave me structure that helped me maintain the habit of blipping daily. Still not sure what I am going to do in March... but stayed tuned!!
