Botanical Beauty!

My sister and I had a visit to Glasgow's Botanic Gardens today - a place of many blipping opportunities from the squirrels scampering around on the grass, pigeons looking for a tasty nibble, camellias and rhododendrons. Inside the glasshouses, where it was very hot and steamy, lethal looking cacti, enormous ferns and of course the amazing orchids. I don't think this orchid was the most attractive but as the photo was taken through a glass tank with water droplets running down the inside I felt it worthy of a place in my journal.
