Tika sculpture of Lono

Today's find was this sculpture of Lono, the god of peace & cultivated plants. I'm sure some of you will recognise this as another of the works by Robert Coia's series of Commonwealth Legacy Sculptures. I watched the Elephant as a work in progress in Pollok Country Park, was directed to the Mackintosh Roses at the House of the Art Lover and the Panda in Queen's Park and look forward to the hooper swan at Hogganfield, snow leopard in Springburn Park & a native American bench on Glasgow Green.
This sculpture of Lono is to be found in the Kibble Palace in Glasgow Botanic Gardens - along with the beautiful 'Red Angel's Trumpet!
