Looking out across Fairburn Ings

Had a lovely long walk today from the RSPB visitor center at Fairburn right across the top path between the river Aire and the lake to Fairburn Village. It was a really cold morning but a good walk. The dogs enjoyed it and so did we. Couldn't make up my mind which photo to put on, one of a frozen Paula and dogs or this one. There were definite signs of spring in the hawthorn bushes with bright green leaves out in the sheltered places. The birds are all pairing up there were a couple of male Mallards fighting over a female but she flew off with another male...hey ho that's life boys
