The Leaning Man

I came across this statue in Mansfield today
The locals call it the leaning man and it's pretty obvious why

All around it are words by local poet Kevin Fegan inscribed on the base of 'the leaning man' sculpture on Church Street. The correct title for this piece of sculpture by David Annand (2007) is "The Amphitheatre", presumably a reference to the shape of its base. Obliquely opposite it is the Parish Church and in the distance, Mansfield Methodist Church.
