A day in Peebles

Relaxed start, unexpectedly sunny day, both abandoned cleaning chores to go with friend to Peebles, coffee and cake, J and friend for a stroll,me blipping, unexpected disaster - camera would not expose properly no manual, late discovery that I had somehow set exposure compensation so everything overexposed, a few late shots when resolved, lunch, pair of shoes bought, home, grandson after school, bread making for weekend, meal, grandson to Beavers soon. I have enjoyed Peebles for years, seeing it as a haven of peace, nestling in the valley. A very pleasant day.
