Waves

The shell has borrowed
The waves of the sea,
Turned them into pearly softness
Hidden inside
Strong, calcified layers.
Its purpose over
It rests among the pebbles.

I just love this and very naughtily brought it home with me to photograph, which I've done time and time again but not blipped yet. Normally I do it on the beach and let the shells rest where they should. Having a bit of a difficult few days blipwise - work mainly but rain partly. Hoping to be inspired over the weekend, when my friend Taurie is here. And hope to catch up a bit more soon. Have a great weekend all.
