Take off!

My walk to school was enlivened by the many swans that have taken residence on the canal. Eight swimming towards me like some kind of armada to begin with then three taking off - which takes some time and 'flying' right past me! Wish I'd got a better shot but I was so excited that I didn't adjust camera settings, just pointed and then enjoyed the spectacle.
No doubt they will be menacing me later on in the year!
