Small Mercies

. . . . . and we are told to be grateful for them.

After temperatures of 35C - 40C degrees for several days, these clouds (bringing temps down about 10 degrees) have already shot off the Small Mercies Scale and are probably at least halfway up the Big one.

And yes, we are suitably grateful.

BTW, for everyone who was concerned about the horse yesterday, my guess is that he's also smiling since he has no idea how funny he looks, but all the people are being smiley and sweet to him, and he has relief from the flies. All good.
