and I'm supposed to sleep where?

I carefully lifted the cats onto the sofa they are allowed to sleep on a night and got ready for bed.

When I went to climb into bed I found the cats had decided to join me!

How do they manage to sit it such a way as to make it impossible to get in and pull the covers over?
