Tomorrow from Texas

So I am going home tomorrow. First time since I moved back to the states and I think I'll spend the next ten days with my arms around Ken and Marla. I am the most at ease when I am with them. They make my soul at rest. Home. We've talked about it a lot on here, but I realized when they were here, that really, they are home. But oh, my bed, her cooking, tex-mex, Shiner... this is going to be good. Really good.

My roommate gave me these flowers after an event for my One Home Many Hopes fundraiser and I am so sad to be leaving them. The event was wildly successful and I'm getting so excited about the last few days of the campaign and to see what we raise, especially with the matching donor! We've been getting some really cool publicity and it's amazing to see how a grass roots campaign really can make a difference.
