Empty

I walked the walk.

It is a long walk but I walked it.

Then I returned here to the empty cafeteria.

There is only Me, and a few footsteps in the long hallway now and then.
The hallway that leads to the New Hospital with its new cafeteria and all its new looks.

"No electrical outlets for your laptop", in the New tiny cafeteria.

Pfffftt! I say to you all.

I will continue gathering meals, perhaps elsewhere, even bring something from home if need be.

And I will have an electrical outlet and I will enjoy my meal as I wait, and I will pop over to that pompous highbrow meal place they call the New cafeteria with bistro!

And when I get my food I will return here to this Empty place and sit alone and enjoy the quiet and feel good.

I hate the New Hospital.
