Feb 28th 2009 - One more day in paradise
Breakfast was later today as it was our final morning here so it gave us time to pack before our lovely fried banana. We all gave the staff a round of applause for giving us such a great time. Then we got the phone call….the road was blocked so we have to stay another day! We played Volleyball (this just edged some awesome clouds into being blip for the day) and as it was so hot we then jumped straight into the pool for AquaVolley instead!
Over lunch the topic of me moving to Denmark first surfaced (spoiler alert – that dream hasn’t come to fruition…yet) before some of us headed into town. I tried to ring home but it tried to tell me I was calling Bermuda (it was the right number) and so when I realised mum and Dad were out, Josefine called her parents who coincidentally had Mia’s parents round there house which led to some very sweet moments. We had a little ice cream before heading back and I updated my journal whilst listening to Sally’s Elgar’s cello concerto in E minor – she is really talented. To end the day Chloe and I spent time chilling in a hammock before we attempted to all play ‘Werewolf’ again. I was rubbish once again and died early both times.
