Observing Katoomba

There is an observation platform at the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre overlooking Katoomba and out toward The Jamison Valley. We have received about 40mm of rain over the last few days. Presently there is not much to see for most of the day apart from drizzle and fog.

I am beginning to think that it might be worthwhile to walk down to some waterfalls for a few pictures over the next day or so, provided the tracks are not too boggy.
