Cutting it Close

I'm not gonna lie! This was a close one. I quite nearly forgot to take a photo on Wednesday. I know it seems crazy to most people that something like forgetting to take a photograph could be a disaster, but to me.....it's a BIG deal! I've been taking photos EVERY.SINGLE.DAY for over 4 years now, and to skip a day now.....that would be depressing. I've come close before......but this one threw me right out of bed at 11pm to find a shot. I wandered around the dark house looking for a subject, and this is what you got.

This little knife was made for me by The Hubby about 23 years ago when we were dating. He made it especially for me, including the little sheath and the deer antler handle. I carried it in my purse for about 11 years. I had to remove it from my purse back in 2002, when I was going on a flight. I never put it back, and over the past 12 year.....I lost track of it in my house. I began to think it was just gone. I found it a few weekends ago, and I was so happy. Wednesday night, The Hubby sharpened it up for me. I think it needs to go back in my purse now.

Anyhow, Wednesday was a pretty normal day for us. Work is NUTS this week, and school is going well for Sugar.
