Daffodils
Tiny little tete a tete daffodils on the kitchen table. Late night blip after an evening Scottish ceilidh dancing in the school hall. So much on tonight, garden club meeting, bowling club quiz, field club talk so only 10 of us there, but we had a good time.
Spent the morning working in one of the charity shops in town. It is owned by a retired business lady and she rents it to local charities by the week. There is a core of permanent staff but each charity provides their own folk to work with them. This week was the Malawi Children's Fund, which our choir supports and we've been gathering together items to sell since before Christmas, so the shop was full to bursting!
I really enjoyed myself, great banter with the two elderly Orcadian ladies under whose supervision I was working, met lots of friends, and folk I haven't seen for ages, coming in and out of the shop plus I managed to buy myself a lovely fine cotton top. It was a fun way to spend the morning and I bet the total raised by the end of the week will be huge, going by how busy it was.
