Fallen tree

This fallen tree is tucked away near where the tree lizard is. I had not realised just how big this tree was, I love all the shades of green and brown. It's quite a lush corner despite most of the surrounding trees still being bare.

I had a lovely day catching up with friends, after school drop off I went to Charlottes house with Clare and saw Jennie and Victoria. Charlotte sells lovely clothes and it is so much nicer than going to the Trafford centre! Due to yesterday's gym session my arms are literally attached by very painful threads which made trying things on a challenge. Nikki popped in and let me add a late order to her Friday night home made curry delivery made by her talented mother in law.

After collecting Heidi we went to Jenny's house and celebrated Helens birthday with Carole and all the kids. As I overran at charlottes chatting chatting chatting I had to make the birthday cake in 5 mins and take it uncooked to Jenny's to go in the oven! Warm just out of the oven lemon drizzle cake was gorgeous though!

I then took Heidi and her friend Lydia for a good long dog walk. Heidi really enjoyed teaching Lydia how to climb a tree and splash in muddy puddles. Jenny Lydia's mum caught us up near the end and said to Lydia as we walked home 'just walk round the edge of this muddy puddle please and don't get dirty'. Both girls looked at me slightly confused and I had to confess to the muddy puddle jumping!

We collected India and hurried home as Jane and India's best friend Lottie were coming for a play and dinner. The curry was delivered and was delicious so I finished the day full to the top with friendship and food and feeling very lucky.
