I blagged my way in to take photos this morning and they all turned out to be completely rubbish. This was the only salvageable one.

I took Sarah and her friend Katie into town for their first unaccompanied trip - although they are both 16 they are both vulnerable in their own ways. I resisted the urge to follow them around, hiding in shop doorways, and they were absolutely fine.

Katie, never, ever, ever, ever stops talking, she is exhausting, but she is kind and protective of Sarah, and they adore each other.
