Vegetarian Goodness....

The Goose, a vegetarian, has found it difficult to consistently find food here to eat. However, twice a week, we are driven an hour away from our small village to the main city center. There, we take Chinese language lessons which are usually preceded by finding food to eat or shopping before heading back.

Right near class, is this little gem of a restaurant. All vegetarian. If the dish calls for meat, it's always a soy or other non-meat substitute.

Tonight's meal:

-Sweet and sour "chicken"
-Snow peas with "meat"
-Fried green onion pancakes.
-Rice
-Tea

Afterwards, we went shopping to buy a space heater. It got so cold so quickly here in Shenzhen that nobody knows what to do. We have no heat in our small dorm room, so hopefully our new purchase will provide some warmth.
