Blue and gold

It Saturday, 1st March already and its a gorgeous day. Mr. T has gone model flying wearing a nice soft Trappers hat with side flaps (instead of the shower cap!!) and I went for a walk through field upon field of the bio-fuel Miscanthus (commonly known as Elephant Grass). There is a nice wide grassy public footpath which runs through the enormous crop which towered above us .... (even me!!).More here

My friend's dogs had a great time playing hide and seek through the dense bamboo-like grasses but Dotty cut her tongue when trying to chew some stray pieces of the plants which are very sharp. Our walk was accompanied by the grasses making wonderful sounds: swishing in the light breeze or crackling like wet wood on a fire.
