Walpole House, Strawberry Hill, Twickenham

Saturday 1st March 2014. First day of opening of Walpole House, Strawberry Hill. The lecture that I attended was about finding the artifacts that were sold after Walpole's death. They have been found all over the world in various museums or private collections. Some are still being researched.
In a back room, you could try your hand at gilding with gold leaf onto wooden letters of the alphabet.
Bonus was the sun shining on the building.
