No Under 18's
We went off to the Photography Show today and stopped for breakfast on the way at the Motorway Services. Just after this was taken Gavin managed leave his bag (with Camera, spare lens and ipad) on the seat. However, we only realised this when we got out of the car at show. A quick deployment of the Find my Phone app showed us it was still at the serivces. We had a frantic time trying to get hold of the service station as there is no phone number published anywhere, no luck. Whilst we scooted around the show we kept checking and it was not moving so we had to reason withoutselves that the bag had been handed in and there was nothing more we could do until we returned.
We saw John from Camera club who was submitting his work for an RPS L Panel distinction and we discoverred later he passed. Hoorah and well done, a nice point to the day and lift spirits.
We also need to thank Clare from Olympus making sure a EM10 was put aside for me (I know I said no more!) and I got a free lens to boot!
After a few other purchases like paper and bits we decided to head home and see if the bag was still there. Boy that drive seemed to take for ever!
And, Hallelujah! The bag had been found by a cleaner and was all intact. What a relief. I guess it did take my mind of fthe cold that is still gripping me, I am in full sneeze mode today, it's messy!
Have a good weekend all.....and don't get this cold.
