i love blip....

sometimes i take a photo that i've worked hard at getting right and i'm pleased to upload. sometimes it's the only photo i've taken all day but it simply records a memory of that day.

the above photo is the latter.
my friends daphne and gareth kindly offered to cook a 4 course meal for 6 to auction at my fundraising event. my neighbours bid for it and invited my parents and our new neighbours to join them. i offered my services as waitress (ha!) so i could join in the fun.

it's not a great picture but i know i'll look back on it and think of the ways people at home helped fund my trip.
