Preening in spring sunshine

It's a beautiful Spring day (at last) so went for a walk by the river and watched the geese enjoying the sunshine. Blossom is starting to bloom so it was hard to decide which picture to post. I decided I'd probably be able to take more pictures of the blossom on another sunny day - whereas I can't be sure the geese will pose again.
Needless to say the walk ended at the pub - so lunch and a beer had to be had. Then came home to make bread and carry on sewing. It's amazing how much better you feel once the sun comes out.
