The council have finally got round to putting a top layer of tarmac on the path leading up to work. Although it’s much neater than the temporary surface and much more level, it doesn’t appear to be any good at draining away rain water. Whilst it doesn’t really matter whilst it’s warm, I dread to think what it’ll be like if it rains and then freezes.
