ZYDRUNAS SAVICKAS - 1155 lbs Tire Deadlift

Today I witnessed Zydrunas Savickas of Lithuania setting a new world record tire deadlift at this year's Arnold Strongman Classic. He finished the day with a huge 1155 lb (523 Kg) hummer tire deadlift. He broke Mark Felix’s previous world record by 27 lbs. I was shooting this event on video but managed to grab this shot.

Zydrunas was in first place by 2 points going into the final lift at the Veterans Memorial finals tonight. He managed to hold this lead over arch rival Brian Shaw of USA to take out his 7th Arnold Strongman Classic title, and the 1st prize of $65,000.

More amazing.

This super strongman from Lithuania is 6 3" tall and weights 400 lbs. He is a member of the local council in the town where he lives, and will next be running for Mayor!.
He is an amazing athlete and has 3 times won the title of World's Strongest Man. Many of you may have seen him on TV in the WSM TV Series of events.
