Can see the wood for no trees

Tree are being felled along the shore of Lake Wakatipu, presumably in preperation for winter weather, after one fell over in strong winds last month. Do you remember the picture of the crushed car from January? Well that was one of the set of trees now being felled, this will probably come as a great relief to the hotel owner who had part of their roof destroyed and now has rooms that must have increased in value because this will now be the view from instead of some trees.
