Cuckoo wasp

I tried to get on the bike this morning, but the grip was just too painful. If I had hit a bump in the road, I would likely jump off. I did manage a full body wash and shave, which was a relief, because I was getting very odorous. Felt sick again while I was out, so it is still a very painful strain.

Got closer to the cuckoo wasp today at the grove. Each time, the shots get better, but still haven’t nailed it. This time, you can see the dimples in the skeleton that protect it from the attack of its host wasps. Here is my last that cuckoo wasp blip, with a more comprehensive write-up.

Found a new grass hopper, but there are lots of those and I can blip that another time.
