"Its been a hard days night"

A very busy weekend. I've spent most of it here.
First a planned Caesarian. Then 3 visits one out of town to re weigh a tiny baby. Stopping in on the way back at a client in early labour planning a home birth. Baby born normally the next morning. I was too tired to attend another birth that evening. My wonderful back up midwife cared for my client wanting a normal birth after having a Caesarian. This ended normally too. Lots of visits with mothers and new babies in here today.

Can't wait to crawl into bed.
