Waiting for the Storm
Winter is not even close to being over on the east coast of the United States. We are under a winter storm warning with a very high chance of 1/10th of an inch of ice and then 8 - 12 inches of snow on top of that.
I think the birds know something is coming as they arrived early at the feeder today and have been scarfing down the food like there is no tomorrow. This cardinal took a brief break from eating so that he could get his photo taken. Quite handsome especially up close.
Today I will get all things done that require electricity as the chances of an extended electrical outage is pretty high.
