Tall Trees......

and a tree top trail!

The children and I headed out to Moors Valley Country Park this morning, hoping to get some fresh air before the rain was due to arrive.

We love the play trail and started out following our usual path, but just after half way through the play trail we seemed diverted slightly and followed signs to the tree top trail instead.

Wow! How had we missed this before.....a wooden trail on stilts so we felt like we were in the trees. The view was amazing, and the sign at the start of the trail indicated that its a good viewing point for wildlife. Well, possibly if there wasn't the noise of three excited children.

We did rejoin the play trail afterwards and made it back to the cafe just as the rain came in.
