St Nicholas Church, Bransdale 1886

A contemplative day. You can sense the silence in this photograph. I went off towards Helmsley but ended up in Cockayne, Bransdale where there is a delightful church. I wanted to make a timeless photograph but then realised that someone had left the electric light on. I could play around with the white balance or convert the image to black and white, but I won't.
