A Place To Lay My Head
University Avenue, Toronto, Ontario
Bleak, dark, and piercing cold, it was a night for the well-housed and fed to draw round the bright fire, and thank God they were at home; and for the homeless starving wretch to lay him down and die. Many hunger-worn outcasts close their eyes in our bare streets at such times, who, let their crimes have been what they may, can hardly open them in a more bitter world. ― Charles Dickens, Oliver Twist
I can't help be feel for these people, I know some live on the streets because of mental health issues, drugs, alcohol but still must they be forgotten. In Toronto we have a Mayor that want to fight a war against a bunch of artists when he should be fighting the war on Homelessness.
I met two artists yesterday: SPUD who have met a couple of months a go. I met his girlfriend first, we met in on saturday she i was wandering Graffiti Alley, and got to talking. I have hung out with him before and we talked about doing something together.
I met the another artist while attending an art gallery opening last night he goes by the name DeadBoy. His view on Street Art is more like mine. We had a very interesting conversation and will be possible doing something together as well.
