Months after the Sony A7 was available here in the Netherlands the first native lens is also in some of the shops. Up until now I have been using some old Minolta lens bought in one of the favorite shops, the Oxfam charity shop in Keswick, always something interesting in stock. Although these old lenses are OK, they are manual focus only, and struggle to be able to keep a sharp focus at the infinity end, which as a landscape shooter is where I often want the focus, but they have taught me a lot about using prime lenses - so I have taken the plunge with this new release from Sony - gets great reviews so I hope I can make it work for me
