My 5 year old....

As we are approaching Tyler's 5th birthday, I decided to take him out this afternoon for a photo shoot. The odds were against me. It was super cold and he HATES getting his picture taken. But, we headed out anyways. He told me he'd give me a good smile for one picture and that was it. I managed to get a few decent pics out of him, but he has inherited his dad's inability to smile genuinely at the camera. For whatever reason, whenever the camera comes out, so does the cheesy fake smile! It is what it is. I was happier than expected with the results, given the circumstances!

We had a fun day today, complete with getting some chores done around the house, having friends over to play and the kids had club this evening! While they were at club, Kelly and I enjoyed a nice warm coffee and a good chat at the coffee shop. It was wonderful!

Still gearing up for the big "lil boy" birthday party this weekend. Tyler is very excited!
