Well Shake It Up Baby Now...

As the nights draw-in and the cold evenings demand more than just the latest fleece-offer from Lidl to keep warm, I've dug out "Ole Faithful" - my classic Alessi cocktail-shaker.

It's seen some action over the past 20 years and is a little chipped here and there (you can use a pint glass once the crystal end eventually goes - saves a fortune on a new one.)

From "Brandy Alexanders" to the truly embarrassing "Slow Comfortable Screws..." it's done them all.

However, all alcoholic roads eventually lead to the King of cocktails - my favourite - Margarita (salt rim naturally.)
