Old Stamp Albums

This is the Great Britain page from my aunt's stamp collection. I never really got into stamp collecting but I like looking through the old albums I have. Countries come, countries go. Monarchs change. History in the making. I am into numbers though and I can tell you the minimum charge for postage in 1940, the blue stamp here, was 2 1/2d which in today's money is about 60p. So the new 2nd class rate of 53p is comparatively good. Have I bored you all to death?
