A bit of a lie in as its our 6th wedding Anniversary today. We have been together for 13 years but only married 6.
After a nice breakfast we headed out to get my parcel from the courier depot. It was my new tripod head. We then went to the bike shop so I could get a valuation for the insurance company. Seems that they will need it for a couple of day to review. As a result ended up booking it in for Monday and taking it back with us. Stopped off at a Nordic outdoor shop to see what clothes they might have for our trip to Finland. No luck.
The main part of the day was lunch at Paul Kitching's 21212 Michelin star restaurant. J couldn't get and evening slot so decided on lunch. Wow great food, as you would expect.
It was

Pink Trout, Filo Crisp, Rhubarb with Tender Baked, Jumbo White Asparagus, Mushrooms & Scallops, Black Garlic, Shallots & Pimento Cream, Smoked Quinoa or Jamaican Chicken, Rice & Greens with Coconut, Pineapple, Onion & Walnuts, Smoked Bacon, & Ham Puddings, Split Peas & Greens, BBQ Mayonnaise
CHEESE
Toffee & Hobnob Trifle
We shared the choices but I didn’t fancy a desert.

Left there and headed up to the society for a dram before going home to have a night in catching up on TV and eating chocolates and cheese.
