A perfect spot for a picnic

It was a beautiful morning, so we thought we'd make the most of the day by going out for a walk. I'd been given a wee book of walks near Glasgow, so it gave us some inspiration for some different places to go. We settled for a drive to Balmaha and walk up Conic Hill. The sky got greyer as we drove up towards Loch Lomond, but it was still a pleasant walk. Unlike this hardy pair in the photo, we had lunch at the Oak Tree Inn at the bottom of the hill, a very popular choice as it was mobbed!
