Purple Hellebore

Worked from home today and watched the high winds and heavy rain from the study window. Got lots done and was very pleased not to be risking the trains again.

Popped into the garden at lunchtime to find something for a blip. The grass still has standing water on top and the whole garden is very soggy.

These hellebores were cuttings given to me by my mum. They've been in for a couple of years but are flowering for the first time this year.
