Spawning Frog

We planned a walk today that we have been meaning to do for ages. We started off by dropping a car in Doune this morning and then came back to Callander. The plan was to follow the Mary Queen of Scot's Way and walk back to Doune, via Doune Castle.
The walk took us up quite high along the way (the photos from that section seem to have disappeared from the memory card, I am completely flummoxed!

Anyway the plan was also to beat the rain. We did get most of the walk dry and were on tracks, paths and roads we never knew existed. A real mixture of terrain, from Tarmac road to scrambling up hills and over harvested forest land. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

There was an abundance of frog spawn in the ditches and lots of frog activity, this little fellow decided to pose for a few seconds.
