A day in North Wales

A beautiful day today in North Wales. Went to Rats new house to begin, which is great. Quick trip into Criccieth for a look at the sea, then off to Portmerion - the Italianate village on the estuary which is always so worth a visit. Although the weather turned a tad damp we had a great time. It's an amazing place and even in the drizzle looked spectacular. Then had a drive through Snowdonia - but the top of Snowdonia was hidden in the cloud. Stopped at Betws-y-coed for a wander along the raging river - the water was very high so fantastic to see. Rounded off the day with a lovely meal in a pub in Tremadog.
