I had to work this morning, then had a slow walk back to Bank to get the DLR home, stopping for coffee, having a browse in the shops etc. I was going to go to the Barbican for a wander about, but it had suddenly turned far too chilly for my liking and my feet were aching, which doesn't often happen, so just wanted to get home to my cosy slippers, rocking chair by the log fire and pipe. Oh okay, the last three things don't exist, but might have been nice!

I took a quick snap of this large green elephant in front of the Apex hotel in Fleet Street, that has caught my eye when I've walked past.

That's the weekend over with then...now that went mighty quickly!
