New potatoes

I finally got around to emptying out my potato sack today, as I wanted to use the compost to top up my grow bags.
What a surprise, a good couple of pounds of lovely new potatoes, Charlotte if I remember rightly.
I used some of them to make Garlic and ginger potatoes to go with our curry, and they were delicious, lovely and firm and waxy.
I am sure I was hoping for a whole sack full, but at the end of winter what a great find!
