LITTLE VISITOR

This chameleon isn’t even 6 inches long including his tail – just a tiny little guy. He’s on the outside of a screen that encloses the pool – there’s no worry of him getting inside. In fact, he’s far more afraid of us than we would be of him. (The screen is a very fine mesh, so you can see cropping the shot made everything seem much larger than it is.) He runs away if I get within eight or nine feet, so this shot is quite a distance away. I wish I could get a picture of him on something colorful because he’d change to that color too, as his camouflage. I liked the silhouette effect of this shot and thought his feet were quite interesting.
