I worked this morning and then came home to a day of house cleaning. Another sub zero day and again it was below zero in afternoon with a bright blue sunny sky providing absolutely no heat. The parking lots are skating rinks and I felt I risked my mobility every time I stepped out of the car so errand running was limited to the necessities.

Statistically speaking those who keep track of such things say this is officially the bitterest winter since the 1800s.
