Not snow

So this was going to be a picture of the ridiculous amounts of snow we've had today (yesterday) but instead this egg made any other choice impossible.

Random ingredients left us going with attempting something nicer than usual. Asparagus, poached egg and buerre blanc; for whatever reason my egg - quite possibly the best poached egg I've made in a while, rolled off my plate and the countertop... Ok I did make another but moment was the photo of the day.
