Rhododendron mucronulatum

Commonly called the Korean rhododendron, this species has many minor variations in it's seedlings. It characteristically blooms early here, long before the leaves have emerged. This plant, about six feet in height is covered in delicate pink flowers that, unlike me, are undaunted by the pouring rain today.
