Botanic

After riding into uni this morning and attending a talk I visited the student centre to sort out my subjects and then didn't have another class until two. So to fill in this time I went across the road to the botanical gardens. As I had brought some exercise clothes I got changed and then did some exercises on the grass in the shade of a giant tree with garden surrounding me and city surrounding that. It was excellent. A beautiful day to be outside and in the city.

Following this I read the screenplay for Brokeback Mountain as it was part of my homework for the week. It wasn't bad, and possibly more enjoyable than the movie thanks to the big text (everything except the dialogue) in it, which was also what we had been asked to critique.

I had my class for the day which went for four hours which got me out at 6pm. I then rode home to the news that Holly's visa had arrived and that she had booked flights for London! Less than two weeks away, very quick, slightly nerve wracking, but very exciting.
